I HAVE DONE PILATES BEFORE. DO I NEED TO TAKE A BEGINNER CLASS?
Absolutely. Private sessions and beginner classes are the foundation of your Pilates practice. Our group classes use the unique Pilates equipment, and we have to show you how to use it!
SO MANY CLASSES! HOW DO I KNOW WHAT WHAT?
Here you will find descriptions of each of our classes. Our classes are limited to either 1, 2 3 or more and you will either use your body's own resistance or a range of Pilates specific equipment for less or extra resistance. Expect lots of hands on and personal attention.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Comfortable athletic wear without buttons, snaps and zips. The studio is co-ed so please dress accordingly. We do not require you to wear socks in our studios, in fact some exercises do not require socks to avoid slipping. If you choose to use socks, sticky bottom socks are the best option.
I AM PREGNANT. CAN I DO PILATES?
yes! Our staff is trained in prenatal/postnatal fitness. Moms-to-be can choose between private and/or semi-private sessions. Just contact us.
I HAVE A PAIN / BACK / KNEE INJURY. CAN I DO PILATES?
Yes, we know countless modifications for various injuries and limitations. We strongly recommend that you make an appointment for a private session before joining group classes to learn how to modify exercises appropriately for your condition.
