From medical student to yoga facilitator working with mind-body effective practices to support mental health.
Elisa’s love for health through medical studies has led her to discover yoga. She has been practicing and studying for the past 6 years qualifying in 2021 from the Uplifted 200hr Yoga Teacher Program.
During her medical studies she discovered anatomy and the power of having a proper body alignment, along with a need for a more holistic approach to patients in a world that is increasingly sectorised.
She chose to build her yoga teachings on techniques supported by scientific evidence.
The intense pressure of study combined with the unequivocal world and life changes experienced by all in 2020, inspired Elisa to share her knowledge and compassionate yoga experience by teaching others.
She is very passionate about teaching people that they can improve their own body and mind to remove long term pain, injuries and soothe anxiety and emotional trauma through the regular practice of yoga. In her classes she offers movement and training to help support the student’s body in the yoga practice and in everyday life, focusing on both strengthening and releasing.
She believes that breathing and meditation are as important as working on the body, so every class will include these practices. In her opinion yoga is a tool to improve the quality of life and it can be adapted to any body, mind and age.

"I am a person that is always busy in my work and private life with a very stringent strength training schedule. My mind is always in the future and very rarely in the now. I find myself a regular chest breather and find it very difficult to relax and take deep belly breaths. Elisa's yoga classes support my body's needs to restore, stretch and breathe. Her inviting approach, partnered with her well-balanced classes, make me feel the most centred, restored and relaxed that feel all week. I love making time for her classes and myself. Thank you, Elisa." Nyema
"Back home in Australia I practiced yoga regularly for the past 10 years. When moving to Sweden I was worried I would not find a yoga teacher that could train around my injuries and still continue my path along my yoga journey.
I was so lucky to have started attending class with Elisa. She took the time to understand my injuries and work with me offering a multitude of options throughout the class. Her teaching is clear and mindful as she guides you through the class.
I would not hesitate to recommend attending a class with Elisa ". Anna
